Well for Oblivion for example there is DLC which requires XBOX LIVE to download it, but I believe the reason is because you can play the game while connected to XBOX LIVE and it will display that you are on the game to users on your friends list
if its written in orange you cant use that feature if its in green you can
it only says that on games where you can buy pic packs or map packs or something or play online. For example it says that on Assassins Creed 2 but not Lego Indiana Jones
