“Classic video game parties ?”
ORLY?
there isn’t a fire button on the paddle controller!
press the fire btton
i loved the sound the ball madwe when you hit a lot of bricks at once it was awesome hearing a cacophony(look it up) of sounds
I’m a noob with atari 2600s
how do you start this game?
Worked for Arkanoid.
The sound on this game was surprisingly effective and hypnotic. That awesome ricochet-rumbling sound when you hit a run of bricks in a row. Memories!
I love the off-screen death of the party-people at the end.
in 1908 a lady named sally rusa was in the woods looking for a dog until a ghost came and killed her so if ur reading this u will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck (sorry guys i hate this stuff
it just scares me)”
I wish I could have classic game parties D:
Interesting.
In the Original Breakout it was a prisoner trying to break-out by removing one brick at a time. That seemed more logical to me.
Actually, the story of Super Breakout is that you are a spaceship pilot who’s on a mission and suddenly gets surrounded by weird shining bars of light which he has to get out of.
Explains the gameplay pretty much, doesn’t it?
good memories of this game too. in case you didn’t know, you’re playin on the harder difficulty (i think it’s difficulty B? i cant remember what they call it). that’s why your paddle is so small even in the beginning. if you switch the difficulty, the paddle will be 50% wider for gameplay.
i loved progressive breakout too. esp when the levels kept going down on every shot. and there was some low brick when you hit it you get a mad bonus!
Atari is meant for 4:3 SD TVs.
lol what happend to your fans at the end ha ha someone pumped thier asses full of lead lol
i only have emulators, but a few gamepads. nothing like atari 2600 on a 22″ widescreen HD monter with friends!
Super Breakout and Breakout are both great. I agree it’s hard to say which is better and that both should be owned.
In Super Breakout I like the double paddle feature and the cavity offering up to 3 balls at a time (though you can’t keep 3 balls going for very long, esp. once the paddle shrinks or the speed increases!).
But my favorite game on here is 7 (progressive). That is so much fun having brick walls continually descend!
Cool, I assumed the break out was an early version of the Nes game “break-thru” featuring that side scrolling driving/shooting game. This is a lot like the Arkanoid. I like it. Very addictive style of game play.
I grew up on a game called Arkanoid and it’s like this but with powerups like a bigger paddle, multiple balls and(my favorite) the power to shoot other tiles/blocks (whatever thos things are XD)
well, i do have a nes a supernes and an atari 2600. so i probably should have a classic game party. thanks for the advice
COOL
YaY awesome classic video game parties!D
