Yes but there are some online only games. When buying look on the back of the box and make sure it says 1 single player in green. Live only ames will not have a green box on the back.

yeah i have an xbox360 my self. you can play any game u want. if it says xbox live on the top it means your ABLE to play on xbox live. so you can play any game unless u WANT to play xbox live which would mean u have to set up your internet connection.
Most games have offline game modes – like single player or standard 2 player, as well as online multiplayer. If a game is only online multiplayer than it will say so on the case. I can’t think of any 360 games that are only online, but Warhawk comes to mind as a PS3 game that is only online.
So likely you’ll be able to play the game you desire on or off line it just depends on the game and the game mode.
yes. but if you want play xbox live with your gamertag on a different xbox 360 you have to recover it eveytime. and when you go back to yours, you will have to recover it again.
